I have my first real job interview in almost 8 years tomorrow. It is at an adult day outpatient clinic affiliated with an inpatient psychiatric hospital. I have not heard back from LA County DPH about my Main Street job offer so I'm hoping something will work out.
The last time I had a job interview, I was going to be a receptionist. It was the same old job I was working in. Now I'm graduated (yes!) and have my master's degree and am going out for a job that will actually impact people's lives and will put to fruition my ten years of hard work in school.
I know I'll be fine in the interview, I just need to try and quell my nervousness. I was nervous Friday, during graduation, but I took a few deep breaths and got through it with flying colors. See?
