What have you tried in life that you just weren't very good at?

Drawing. I've never been talented at it. I took an art class in 9th grade and even my teacher was happy when I dropped it to be a T.A. for a different class!

What compliment are you most often given?

"You're so strong"

RE: my incredibly difficult life circumstances (hubby w/cancer, graduate school, alcoholic parents, sick dog) and my tenacity to get through it all with a smile and without having a nervous breakdown.

You crash your friend's car because you're driving too fast in bad weather. Everyone's okay, but the car has to go into the shop. Who pays the deductible?

This happened to me.

My friend was driving. My friend paid the deductible. It's the right thing to do.

What are your irrational fears?

1. Driving next to big rigs on the freeway.

2. Small heights. I think it's because I'm actually afraid of breaking a bone.

3. Earthquakes. And I live in Southern California. And lived through Northridge. Its about time we had another big one, it's been too long.

4. Being alone. Although I'm not afraid of dying, I'm afraid of losing those that I love.

5. Being in the ocean when it's high tide. I hate giant waves. I'd much rather be in a pool.

(In no particular order)

1. I can talk sports. Not like, "Wow, turn the football game off" but can rattle off sports scores, make bets, and look forward to watching games. I feel bad that I only went to three baseball games last season, and only one USC football game this semester.

2. I'm funny.

3. I'm a good listener.

4. I make a MEAN pan of chicken enchiladas.

5. I'm smart.

6. I'm good in bed (I am!).

7. I can admire a gorgeous looking woman.

8. I am not one of those girls who is all consumed with fashion and spends tons of money on clothes.

9. I go to USC. And that is AWESOME.

10. I'm a really good friend who will have your back in (almost) any case.

What is your favorite dish on the Thanksgiving table?

It might be easier to talk about what I don't like. Pumpkin pie. Cranberry sauce. That's about it. I love Thanksgiving and all things turkey related.

Although I hate it when gravy gets on food. I like it on the side and that's about it.

Film & TV writers are on strike, which means everything except reality TV could halt production.  Do you support the strike?  Are any of your favorite shows in jeopardy?

I do support the strike, because with the way that technology is evolving and the way that studios are distributing shows online, writers deserve to be paid and paid well.

I am however bummed because "Scrubs" is in its final season and I read yesterday that the series finale has NOT been written yet. I don't want the show to go off the air without the proper finale it deserves. Also, Steve Carrell did not cross the picket line today, so production has been halted on "The Office" until the strike is over.

I'm worried about the other people who work on various shows around town--makeup artists, hair stylists, everybody who works behind the scenes. The longer the strike goes on, the worse off these people are going to be because they will continue to be out of work.

That is the worst part of this whole situation.

What do you think of Stephen Colbert's satirical bid for the U.S. Presidency?  

My only complaint is that it's not Stewart/Colbert.

Got one? No.
Thought about it? Yes.

I just have to wait for it to come down to a reasonable price and be used on other networks. Otherwise I have to wait until my contract is up with my current provider (next year) and then I can think about getting one.
